I first started bloging on Vox and have just learned that it closing down this month. So maybe now I'll start posting more here? We shall see. It's really just about the books for me anyway. I used to search Steve Betz' and Greywolf's book postings for ideas.

Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat

I just don't seem to have any political views. I'm trying to care, but I
just can't. I knew the iPhone was for me; I reviewed CPUs and heatsinks
for weeks before deciding on the i7. I've even decided on my favourite
size and shape and tonewoods for a guitar. But choosing who to vote for?
It just seems so pointless. And I've got an eduction. What about the
proles out there? How do they decide? Or is it easier for them? Just do
what the Sun says? I'm going back to tech blogs and podcasts now. I may
not even vote. Now that might be the best political decision I could
make!

Gillean came round last night and we talked for a couple of hours. She helped me a lot. It has been a remarkable few days and I feel that I have grown. I wanted to know how to pray and it was great to have Gillean there to help. My good friend Michael also helped a lot on Monday night. And stupid me thought on Sunday that Michael wouldn't be able to help. That's what can happen when I'm spiralling down.

Gillean sent me a Psalm to help me pray and find a quiet moment:

Lord you search me and you know me
you know everything I do
from far away you understand all my thoughts
you see me whether I am working or resting
you know all my actions
Even before I speak
you already know what I will say
you are all around me on every side
you protect me with your power
your knowledge of me is too deep
it is beyond my understanding.

Just got new poster boards yesterday. It's much better now.
